February 22, 2010 HARTING Product Change Notification Hiermit informieren wir Sie, dass mit Beginn des Kalenderjahres 2010 alle Kontakteinsätze der Baureihen Han 40 D® und Han 64 D® in einer neuen Ausführung geliefert werden. Das Kunststoffmaterial, aus dem die Kontakteinsätze gefertigt werden, wird von Polyamid auf Polycarbonat umgestellt.
Durch diese Maßnahme verbessert sich das Brandverhalten gem. UL94 von HB auf V0, so dass nunmehr auch höhere Anforderungen in Bezug auf Brandverhalten erfüllt werden können. Im Rahmen dieser Umstellung werden die Kontaktkammerkennzeichnung jetzt aufgedruckt, was zu einer deutlichen Verbesserung der Lesbarkeit führt.
Materialfarbe: Die Materialfarbe bleibt weiterhin RAL 7032 Alle anderen technischen Kennwerte sowie die Artikelnummern bleiben unverändert. Die neuen Varianten der Baureihen Han 40 D® und Han 64 D® sind vollständig steckkompatibel zu den bereits existierenden Versionen. Somit gibt es keinerlei Einschränkungen bei der Kombination mit bestehender und neuer Variante. Folgende Artikelnummern sind von den beschriebenen Modifikationen betroffen:
February 04, 2010 PCN: Cooper Bussman KS & KSL Series Effective immediately, the Cooper Bussmann® PowerStor® supercapacitor part numbers KS-2R8334-R, KS-3R3224-R and KSL-3R3703E-R are discontinued. As part of our continuing process to offer industry leading solutions, the KS Series is replaced by new, low profile KSR Series. The KSR Series maintains the same electrical performance, footprint and board layout as that of the KS Series, but with a reduced height of 1.8mm. Since its launch, the KSL Series KSL-3R3703S-R part number has been hugely popular. As such, it’s been decided this will become our standard offering in this form factor. Applications using the KSL-3R3703E-R need to transition to the KSL-3R3703S-R. In order to minimize customer inconvenience during this transition, we will accept “Endof- Life” orders through February 15, 2010. Any orders will be consolidated into a final production run for each of the three affected part numbers. The official End-of-Life date is March 31, 2010. Please plan accordingly for the end of production of these part numbers. Cooper Bussmann personnel will assist with implementation as required.
