Due to the increasing demand for polymer cathode tantalum electrolytic chip capacitors (low ESR) NIC Components has expanded its range of NTP series by additional 22 types, which feature high permissible ripple current and effective noise reduction with ultra low ESR down to a minimum of 6 m?.
The SMT Low ESR Polymer Cathode Tantalum Electrolytic Chip Capacitors are available in J, P, A2, A, B2, B, C2, C, V and D miniature case sizes, with 2.5 VDC 16 VDC voltage ratings and a capacity range from 2.2 F to 1000 F ± 20%.
NTP series are best ideal for embedded computing applications and for applications such as DC/DC converter, voltage regulators (VRM), suppression of oscillation for general purpose regulator, video camera, portable cassette / CD player, personal phone and AV gaming consoles.
The Polymer Cathode Tantalum Electrolytic Chip Capacitors are RoHS compliant, suitable for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and compatible with lead-free reflow soldering process (+240°C for 5 sec. ~ 10 sec.).
