New auris white full-ceramic-housing SMD-crystals

Less expensive and innovative

New approaches in the use of low-cost housing materials were found by auris-GmbH. As an alternative to the conventional housing materials available in the market an additional full-ceramic-housing of own production is offered.

These new auris-SMD-crystals of AC-series in white full-ceramic-housing compared to the normal market with crystals in ceramic with metal lid are

• cost effective
  
• functional compatible
• pin compatible
• laser-coded (date and lot code possible)

All crystals are produced in TS 16949 certified manufacturing facilities, whereas the crystal blanks incl. the new full-ceramic-housing are out of own production. This vertical integration allows in addition to highest yields short delivery times and very competitive prices.

The crystals based on highest quality levels are produced in clean rooms, subjected to 100% testing and additional checked according to IEC 60444-6 (DLD measurement).
This ensures a perfect oscillation build-up in the application.

The housing options currently available are:

• AC3225 (3.2 x2.5mm) in the frequency range from 12 MHz to 40 MHz
• AC5032 (5.0 x3.2mm) with 12 MHz to 30 MHz and
• AC1045 (10.0 x4.5mm) with 3.2768 MHz to 7 MHz 

They are lead free, RoHS compliant in accordance with directive 2002/95/EC and can be soldered according JEDEC standard J-STD-020C (reflow).
