Braunschweig, October 19, 2009 N-channel MOSFETs ideally suited as synchronous rectifier Lowest RDS(ON) 60V and 40V SDMOS™ products in DFN5x6 package Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, Inc. (AOS) with its European distributor setron announced the availability of two new N-channel MOSFETs ideally suited as synchronous rectifier in telecom and power supply applications. The AON6444L/AON6440L are fabricated in AOS’s high performance SDMOS™ trench technology that combines an excellent RDS(ON) with low Ciss, Qrr and gate charge. The result is outstanding efficiency with controlled switching behaviour. This universal technology is well suited for PWM, load switching and general purpose applications. The AON6440L provides a VDS of 40V, drain current of 85A and 3.4mOhm RDS(ON), while it’s brother AON6444L with it’s rugged 60V / 81A / 6.5mOhm RDS(ON) ratings is also a good choice for motor control applications. The 100% UIS and Rg tested devices are available from stock in RoHS compliant and Halogen free thermally enhanced DFN5x6 packages.
