New MOSFETs offer most efficient high frequency switching performance AOS AON7200 and AON7402
Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, Inc. (AOS) with its European distributor setron announced the release of two new 30V N-channel devices for high frequency switchers used for notebooks, embedded computing or telecom applications. The AON7200 uses AOS’s high performance SGT technology that is uniquely optimized to provide the best figure of merit for low duty cycle, high frequency DC-DC conversion. As an option to this flag ship the AON7402 is the best choice if pricing is more important than efficiency. Both perform very well as synchronous buck high side switches, but the AON7402 has higher Crss and RDS(ON) of 10 mO against the 8 mO of the AON7200 which can carry up to 24A.
The 100% UIS and Rg tested devices are available from stock in a RoHS compliant and Halogen free DFN3x3 package.
