One-line bi-directional TVS diode for very high speed interfaces AOZ8131 Low capacitance TVS diode
The brand new member of the AOZ8xxx TVS diode family, AOZ8131, is a 1.25pF ultra low capacitance one-line bi-directional transient voltage suppressor diode designed to protect high speed data lines and voltage sensitive electronics from high transient conditions and ESD.
This diode is a perfect fit in portable handheld devices, keypads, data lines, buttons, portable GPS and many other applications. It offers a low clamping voltage at low operating voltage of 5.0V. It may be used to meet the ESD immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-2, Level 4 (±15kV air, ±8kV contact discharge) which it outperforms with ±24kV as well as IEC 61000-4-4(EFT) ±40A (5/50nS), IEC 61000-4-5 (Lightning) ±4A and Human Body Model (HBM) ±30kV.
The AOZ8131 comes in a RoHS compliant ultra-small 1.0 x 0.6 x 0.5mm SOD882 package which fits 0402 footprints and is rated over a -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range. This leadless DFN package makes it ideal for applications where PCB space is a premium. The high ESD protection protects valuable and voltage sensitive electronics from high transient conditions and electrostatic discharge.
