New AOS MOSFETs AOT474 and AOTF474 Robust MOSFETs for motor drive applications withstand harsh operating conditions
Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, Inc. (AOS) with its European distributor setron announced the release of two additions to its family of MOSFETs intended to be used in industrial motor control circuits or electric power bicycles (ebikes), where the MOSFETs are subjected to harsh operating conditions that cause high levels of power dissipation.
Both, AOT474 and AOTF474, are 75V rated N channel devices using AOS’ robust planar MOSFET process. This technology is designed to provide efficient and reliable power conversion even in the most demanding applications, including motor control. With low 11.3mOhm RDS(ON) and excellent thermal capability these devices are appropriate for high current switching and can endure adverse operating conditions.
The AOT474 is housed in a standard TO-220 package whereas the AOTF474 comes in the isolated TO-220F version.
