SpectraLinear Inc. Announces World’s First Family of Programmable PCI express clock generators with Gen.2 & Gen.3 Compliance for Embedded System Designs

SpectraLinear, Inc. a leading provider of timing solutions for the embedded, communication, computation, and consumer markets, today announced the world’s first family of programmable, PCIe gen. 2- and gen.3-compliant, clock generators. The bit-rate of Gen -3 is up to 2x faster than Gen- 2. This state of the art technology allows system board designers to achieve high signal integrity with optimum timing margins and performance, consequently allowing rugged manufacturing margins…all this with best of class power consumption and cost structure.
